Nostalgia 77, World Sanguine Report and The Golden Age of Steam:
PLUS- Psychedelic light show and guest DJ's!

A mind altering party featuring some of London's freshest talents in an exciting celebration of performance, new music, jazz, heavy skronk, psych and song all accompanied by psychedelic lighting from Bubble Vision, and finishing with a DJ set to allow you to continue partying into the small hours!

This gig is also a celebration of the release of Nostalgia 77's new record "The Taxidermist" on the Tru Thoughts label, The Golden Age of Steam's "Welcome to Bat Country" on Basho records and the imminent arrival of World Sanguine Report's "Skeleton Blush".

Between them the band members have more awards, citations and critical acclaim than you can shake a stick at- featuring in no particular order Andrew Plummer, James Allsopp, Ben Lamdin, Matt Bourne, Kit Downes, Tim Giles, Tom Greenhalgh, Riaan Vosloo, Ruth Goller and Alex Bonney.

Nostalgia 77 is a musical Jekyll and Hyde. Dragging audiences from sweet songs through noisy hubbub to clamouring instrumental excess this schizophrenic child of producer Benedic Lamdin features; Tim Giles - drums, james Allsopp - reeds, Riaan Vosloo - bass, Mathew Bourne / kit downs / Ross Stanley - keys, Fulvio Sigerta trumpet and Josa peit - vox.

"There are moments that are clearly stunning" Popmatters

Part demonic vaudeville, part psychotic big band, vocalist/guitarist Andrew Plummer revels and writhes in the macabre as he heads his World Sanguine Report through visceral tales from the dark side of life, love and death. Propelled by demented carny rhythms, Plummer's bruised, gruff vocals and darkly-enthralling lyrics are enveloped in a tide of swirling tones and textures, with the constant threat of breaking into waves of cacophany.

‘Twists the noble craft of songwriting into a dystopian mindf**k...Plummer's warped vaudeville, always dark turning darker is something entirely his own' THE WIRE

James Allsopp: Bari. Sax, Bass Clarinet. Alex Bonney: Trumpets. Matt Bourne: Piano, Rhodes and analogue synths. Ruth Goller: Elec. Bass, Vocals.Tom Greenhalgh: Drums. Andrew Plummer: Vocals and Elec. Guitar.

The Golden Age of Steam’s music is a kaleidoscope of sounds and textures traversing a musical landscape that veers between delicate ambient textures, stomping punk freak outs and intricately woven contrapuntal textures.

"They sculpt progressive aural explorations of space that range in character from avant-garde classical to deconstructed blues" (Metro)

Featuring the talents of BBC Jazz award winners James Allsopp and Tim Giles on reeds and drums alongside Mercury Prize nominee Kit Downes on Keyboards with Ruth Goller on Electric bass and Alex Bonney on Electronics and Trumpet.
